Well, have spent the last few months just applying to jobs via LinkedIn, Dice, and Monster. Seems to be a lot of job listings with entry-level but seems like even these jobs require 3-5 years of experience. A high requirement for someone to come in and learn their system.

July 8, 2024 Finished up the Coursera Google Cybersecurity Certificate course. So it gives me access to some of the Google careers sites which might yield some good leads. I also have another credit I can add to the resume.

Well, an interesting day at work today. Seems I got laid off. I wouldn’t say it was unexpected but still a bit of surprise. I had planned for this so should be good but guess I can focus on cybersecurity stuff a bit more.

Decided to start up the Google Cybersecurity Certificate via Coursera. Looks like a brief cyber course where you watch some videos and answer some questions. Go through a few exams and looks like it should take a few weeks.
